A wine cooler for two wine bottles, designed for the Dutch luxury brand VinoQ. It is a sculptural piece that is both practical and decorative: it keeps wine at constant temperature for hours, and also functions as an eye-catcher. Suitable for professional establishments and private individuals.
8 Inch Chef's Knife
Client: Perlingstone, Australia
Featuring a desert ironwood handle and AUS10 Japanese damast steel, this knife designed with the Perlingstone brand won 3 design awards:
Gold at the International Design Awards 2023, and Top Design and Winner at the European Product Design Award 2023.
Single Wine Cooler
Client: VinoQ, The Netherlands
The one bottle version of the wine cooler for the luxury brand VinoQ. It has a cylinder for placing a wine bottle, which is separate from the ice compartment. The complete product consists of only one injection molded part. The shape conveys coolness by being reminiscent of ice formations.
Steel Wine Cooler Stand
Client: VinoQ, The Netherlands
A sheet steel wine cooler stand, designed to hold a VinoQ Single Wine Cooler. Based on a rough sketch from the VinoQ founder, I made a 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) model and technical drawings. The product is produced by a Dutch manufacturing company.
Knife Sharpener
Client: Bergkvist, Germany
This knife sharpener has a minimalistic appearance, and a relatively complex sharpening mechanism hidden inside. It has a steel front, combined with bamboo. It is suitable for kitchen knives, serrated knives, and Japanese single-beveled knives. It can be used for sharpening and honing.
