Share your product with the world!

You might have a great idea in your head, and you may not even have the idea fully developed. I can help you refining your idea. If you're one step further, I can help you designing your new product based on your idea, and design it into a tangible product.

You might have an innovative technology that you would like to introduce to the world, but you don't know how to design a product around it and how it could be manufactured. I can help you out creating exciting designs that are elaborated, refined, and made easy to produce.

I can help you out generating exciting new ideas and developing concepts, including stunning visuals for your products. I think out-of-the-box in order to get fresh perspectives for your physical product and the way it can be manufactured.

I work with people worldwide that want to create physical products, for example entrepreneurs, founders, and businesses owners. I create products from scratch or redesign existing products with them.

About

  • From an early age, it was clear that I had to find a creative profession. As a child, I already felt a need to express my creativity and to design in three dimensions. Perhaps my largest (personal) project back then was to build a city from paper with houses, fortresses, skyscrapers, cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, and animals. I challenged myself to build as much as I could by using only one part per object. For instance, I made skyscrapers by using just one piece of paper for each, which I would cut out, fold, and glue into shape.

The industrial design bachelor’s and master’s programs I followed at the Technical University in Delft, the Netherlands, built a solid understanding of product design and manufacturing. After obtaining my master’s degree, I moved to Berlin, Germany, where I worked in a German design studio and learned about the ins and outs of industrial design on the job from award-winning designers. Main projects that we worked on in the studio were for public transport (for example train and subway interior and exterior concepts) and door intercom products. The experiences in Germany also helped shape my appreciation for minimalistic design.

I’m originally from the Netherlands and after eight years in Germany, I’m now combining work with travel.  The impressions I get from travelling are inspiring and they provide me with insights about design in other countries.

Today, I listen to the requirements of my clients, who are based all around the globe. I've helped them create many types of products, among which a pocket knife, a smart food thermometer, outdoor products, gaming equipment, and various types of kitchenware.

After winning awards for several products I designed and having them featured in exhibitions, I still find get fulfilment from happy end users. From reading or watching reviews from the people who use the products I designed and who express how they help them in their daily lives. It aligns perfectly with my mission:

"Enriching people's daily lives by designing meaningful products."

What contributes to creating a meaningful product is to make it sustainable. Imagine products that can be used for years and years and that afterwards can be repaired or recycled into something useful again. I believe we should treasure our objects and create products that add value to the world.

"Enriching people's daily lives by designing meaningful products."

One-stop shop

I offer an end to end industrial design service from the minute you come up with the idea until the product is totally designed and can be prototyped and prepared for manufacturing. I can even design the packaging too if you need it, and work on your branding.

Products that get manufactured

I work together with passionate people and design products that get made.

Dutch design background

German design experience

In the first 5 years of my career, I got educated in clear no-nonsense German design while working in a design team in Berlin.

Collaboration with manufacturers

Freedom

Freedom of thought, freedom of location, and the freedom to create meaningful work relationships. You have the freedom to develop your own product that you can sell and distribute, so that many people can benefit from it.

Sustainability

With all current waste, climate, and resource issues, let's create meaningful products that improve people's daily lives and treat resources wisely.

Professional approach

As an independent contractor, my full-time engagement is in industrial design, from initial ideas until a producible result. If you're thinking of working together, fill in the contact form now.

3

Detail

Finalizing every detail, and preparing files that your manufacturer can use for prototyping and production.

4

Visual

Creating realistic product images that you can use for display on your website or packaging, for fundraising, Amazon listings, and more.

What clients are saying

“Ridzert is very skilled with his designs, and very technical.
He brought new designs to us and executed on all the required details required for a relatively complicated 3D design with multiple parts.”

★★★★★

Ted Conrad - Founder of FireBoard Labs

Kansas City, USA

"Great product, and great communication along the way to get there - a quality that can't be underrated. It was a pleasure to work with Ridzert, and I will again. The product was hand drawn sketches of a new product, and they were very professional and exactly as I needed"

★★★★

Rebecca Breach - Founder of Jardinière Sauvage

Paris, France

"We’ve worked with Ridzert several times now and we’ve always been extremely happy with the results. In every project, he takes the time to fully understand the product and deliverables before starting. He always over delivers on what we expect, be it through creativity or additional support after the project has ended. It is always a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we look forward to working with him again in the future."

★★★★★

David P. – CEO of
