Abstract Playgound Figures
Client: Wickey, Germany
For the spring rockers shown on this page, the brief was to create abstract shapes for playgrounds that help children use their own imagination and therefore matches the Wickey slogan "Create your own adventure".
Is it a dragon, a dog, a monster, or a frog? The user can decide.
For these spring rockers, I helped creating ideas and ultimately I delivered CAD files that were used as input for manufacturing. I made the files suitable for CNC machining.
The round spring rocker shown here is a special type with side panels between which the user can sit. A wide hand grip is integrated in the front plate.
I also designed
animal spring rockers and
vehicle spring rockers for the same client.
